NATURALIT representatives were invited to participate at the Nordic Platform meeting. The event took place on 11–13 June, in beautiful Punkaharju, southeast Finland. Participants from LIFE Nature projects in Nordic countries and Lithuania, EASME and NEEMO gathered here to discuss most relevant news from the LIFE programme, particularly regarding the forthcoming new financial period for 2021-2027.
Participants were also invited to share experience in assessing socio-economic benefits, continuity of projects, complementary measures. They were also encouraged to discuss the need for projects coordination at national and regional levels. Also make necessary contacts for future cooperation. During the meeting important technical and financial issues, especially regarding LIFE integrated projects were also discussed.
Next meeting is planned to be held in 2019, probably in Belgium. Lithuania is also expected to take the initiative on the organization of the meeting of LIFE integrated projects soon.
